Additionally, there will be a major increase in the insurance price coverage for all employees. Illegal immigrants in the U.S will not be entitled to any medical coverage even if they use their own money (Jackson & Nolen, 2010). In the reforms, practices and individuals with the motive of carrying out abortion will not be provided with any medical insurance cover. After the reforms have been effected, DHHS (Department of Health and Human Services) agencies will have the task of ensuring that the implementation of the reforms is successful. Additionally, the agencies will have the mandate of providing guidelines to medical institutions, insurance institutions and the ordinary individuals on the requirements of the reforms (Holtz, 2008). The agencies will also be provided with the right of prosecuting individuals and institutions which fail to adhere to the reforms requirements. In the reforms, some legal issues have been added in regards to nursing. For instance, nursing practitioners have been cautioned on the carrying out of abortions. The health care reforms has also advocated for wage increases for nurses as well as inclusion on medical coverage from their employers (Holtz, 2008).
