Politics and the economy are usually the main reasons behind our thoughts about environmental issues and destruction, likewise, we tend to think that implementing laws and rules are the only way to fix those issues. However, as Joseph Wood Krutch, an American writer and an environmentalist who was awarded the National Book Award for his nature books on the American Southwest, mentioned is his book: â€Å"If people destroy something replaceable made by mankind, they are called vandals; if they destroy something irreplaceable made by God, they are called developers.† (Krutch). Even though it is rare that we think about religion when we talk about environmental sustainability and ways to achieve it, religion has a key role.
